Mark Darling – Story 4

Mark is a bit of a car guy. There were a few periods of my life where I was without a car and saving for something cheap and used. He monitored Craigslist for me and sent me many deals that he spotted. Here is one of those emails “very good car for you, priced so right 1175 I almost bought one of these. KV has one and loves it. this car runs forever. they have done some recent very important work on it. if I hadn’t just bought my silver civic, I would get this one. mark d.” I didn’t end up buying any of the cars he sent me but instead wound up leasing a vehicle because I wanted to have something nice. Mark has looked out for me in so many practical ways. I don’t know how he has time to pray for all of his flock, counsel, pastor, preach, serve his wife and kids, organize Faithwalkers, take trips around the world encouraging the saints. I’ve often felt like he must have superpowers and I’ve wanted to tap into the power of the holy spirit the same way he has. A man that does as much as he has for his flock can’t possibly have time to live a double life.
