Mark Darling – Story 11

Mark Darling spoke at this High School leadership conference when I was 16 years old and newly saved. Everything was so new, but hearing him speak so vividly and passionately about the love of Christ truly impacted my life! I had a question for him, and he took time to talk me through the answer and the deeply rooted change it could have. After that conference, as I continued to grow as a Christian and saw him at conferences, he’d remember my name and ask how certain situations were going. I was floored that he remembered and cared. That always stuck with me. I consider him very much a spiritual father figure to myself and my family now. He’s been dear friends with my husband and I and we wouldn’t be the same without seeing his real and raw passion and love for the Lord and people. He’s truly a rare, servant-hearted, God-fearing, God-loving man.
