Mark Darling – Story 47

I can remember from the time I met Mark 24 years ago, his smile and heart to put others first. He genuinely cares about my life and when he says he will pray about something for me, I know he does! Mark is not afraid to share Truth from God’s Word. There have been many times in my life, through hard trials, that I have been encouraged and challenged by what Mark has shared. God has revolutionized our parenting by using Mark to remind us of how to raise Godly kids: it takes a tender heart and lots of patience seeking Him! I’m so thankful for Mark and Kathy..their marriage is a testimony to Christ and to all of us that He shepherds. Jason and I have many times asked ourselves what would Mark and Kathy do in this situation. And lastly, every time I have brought a new person or family to church, Mark memorizes and greets them by name, each time he sees them. I can’t think of a more thoughtful person than Mark. If I had to choose one word that describes Mark it would be, GENUINE!
