Mark Darling – Story 74

I shudder to think what my life would be without Mark. I stumbled into The Rock as a college student–unmarried, childless, barely mature enough to be out on my own. Thankfully, I WAS wise enough to look at Mark’s life, and especially his kids, and think, “That’s what I want my life and family to be like in 20 years.” Now, almost 20 years, 17 years of marriage, and 5 kids later, I look back and realize just how little I knew about how to be a husband, father, and godly man. Without Mark’s wisdom, guidance, prayers, and personal support, I would have simply been taking unsuccessful stabs in the dark. Marriage and parenting are extremely difficult. Mark has a deep passion for helping people be successful, and I’m thankful to God for Mark’s zeal and example.
