Mark Darling – Story 86

My name is Jessica and I’m from Candlewood Church in Omaha, NE. The Darling family first entered my life at Faithwalkers 2015 when I heard Mark preach and his son Jeromy speak on pornography at a breakout session and also lead worship. This was my first Faithwalkers experience and I felt the Spirit lead me to these two Godly amazing men. I first connected with Jeromy and he let me tell him of my story and helped lead me to God through so many trials. Which then leads me to Mark. Hearing Mark preach has impacted my life tremendously- the stories of God leading and guiding him through hardship, the passionate tone of his voice when he talks about the Father, and just the genuine love he displayed for God and his people. The really impactful moments for me with Mark came not just in his sermons but in the conversations I’d have with him. Mark loves people. He is one of the most kind-hearted, wise, honorable, respectful men I’ve ever met. Mark is a genuine, truthful, honest man who loved God and his people. He is so passionate for our Savior, our King. Mark goes above and beyond to exude Christ’s love to those around him. I truly wouldn’t be where I am in my walk without the Darling family. I am so thankful and so blessed to have them in my life these last 3 years.
