Mark Darling – Story 113

I can’t begin to tell you how much you have encouraged and challenged me in my walk with God. Hearing you speak for the first time at Faithwalkers in 2014 changed the course of my life. I want the real thing, the real Christian life. I’ve been devouring your messages, both here at the Rock and listening to Strong Disciple on my bike ride to work. It’s given me such a strong foundation in my pursuit of God and for almost every area of my life. In particular, my family has been blessed, my parenting, my attitude showing up for work, my growth in forgiveness and humility, these have all taken a turn for the better. My convictions to home educate my kids have solidified, and more importantly, my vision for raising my kids to know and walk with Jesus has grown exponentially.

In early 2014 I was dealing with some very close friends going through rough situations, the friendships were strained and broken, and I was discouraged. After hearing your message “Inspired Faith Initiatives” at Faithwalkers, I knew I needed more of what you were dishing out. Your series “Rekindling Your Spiritual Fire” that January was instrumental in lifting my spirits, giving me hope, and setting me back on a trajectory to take refuge in God and live for him no matter what may come. Now, two years later, my faith and confidence in God are immovable, and God is beginning to rebuild those broken friendships as well.

Our God is the real deal. I want to spend my life to know him, and I can’t thank you enough for leading the way. Don’t stop. You are loved. I’m with you heart and soul.
