Mark Darling – Story 122

It is such a delight to be a part of the flock God has entrusted to your care.  When we came to the Rock Cassie and I was seeking a church and a pastor who could teach us to be better parents and spouses. To learn more deeply how to love each other with God’s love and impart that love to our children.  The truth is, we weren’t doing this well, we were struggling, and we had a lot to learn.  The one thing we had going is that we knew we needed more help, insight, and wisdom.  The Rock has been that help, not just you and your words every week challenging us to love Jesus more authentically from the pulpit (or music stand), but also within this community of believers that you have raised up as examples and witnesses of how to do this so well.  Thank you for loving Jesus as you do, for sharing your passion for his love, and for inspiring within my heart a continued desire to pursue Him better.  I love being a part of a church where I know that the gospel is not just spoken but lived out by everyone, and in particular by you.  Thank you for this witness, it is an extraordinary blessing to me.
