Mark Darling – Story 146

What the Rock and Mark mean to me.

It means fellowship with other Christians that are on fire for God. Not just a Friday or Sunday thing. A lifestyle. It means being used by God.

The Rock is where I “planted my flag” a few years ago. I have never looked back since and I have not regretted it. Due to the Rock and Mark’s messages, I have been encouraged and have grown so much in my faith. By having reminders and encouragement of being in God’s word and in prayer daily. For a long time before the Rock, I would pray that I would have the desire to get back into God’s word. I would pray to that I would have friendships with other believers. Here I am years later. I have grown more in my faith in the last 4 years than the 10 years before coming to the Rock. I have never heard a pastor such as Mark talk with such passion or fire and make God’s word so applicable to daily life. I know that without the Rock and Mark I would not have a transformed life. I would still be a lukewarm Christian. If someone told me 5 years ago I would be where I am today…I would not believe them. God has blessed me so much, I can’t count the blessing.
