Mark Darling – Story 103

I am so very thankful for you. When I first started coming to the Rock I was struggling. I needed a church where I could trust the pastor and the people there. I found out quickly that you were genuine. You truly care about everyone at the Rock. You sacrifice so much of your time and you put your heart into everything you do. You are so on fire for the Lord and that is contagious. I immediately felt like the Rock was a place I felt comfortable because of your lack of “sugar coating” the truth. You are real with your flock and you share your struggles and your faults.You are humble.

I can’t imagine how taxing and stressful your job can be. But please know that my life was forever changed when I committed to the Rock. You have always made me feel welcome. You have supported and loved me through many tough times and also been a part of many happy times in my life as well. 🙂 I don’t think I can explain in words how thankful I am for you. Andy and I love you and pray for you often!   Praying you are encouraged!
