Mark Darling – Story 127

We have been attending the Rock for over 8 years and can hardly believe how much God has done in us through this church.  We both grew up immersed in church culture, but have been challenged in new and incredibly important ways since walking through the doors of Jefferson.  I honestly never thought that I would stay more than a short time, at The Rock or in Minneapolis but have found a home, and now my wife, in this community.  The concept of the church is a body, a family, became real to me here for the first time ever.  Your leadership and guidance has seen both of us through good times and bad and has always remained a constant for us.  We have felt the answers to your prayers for us, and have been honored to pray with you and for you as well.  In these recent years, you have been a joy to us in helping us into our marriage, me specifically through some of my doubts and fears.  Without your help, I would have remained frozen and frightened.  Every time you greet us and thank us for our presence in the church it bolsters our joy and hope for so many amazing things to come in the future.  You have shown me, shown us, a true passion for Christ – not just in ministry, but in a relationship with Him – that has changed us forever.  We consider ourselves sincerely blessed to have been lead to this family that you started so many years ago.  Thank you for all of your love, your service, and your obedience.
