Mark Darling – Story 30

I first came to know Pastor Mark Darling in my teen years, when I was fairly lost, rebellious, and depressed. I had never met someone so passionate about God, and so able to articulate how faith and Jesus Christ could be a real part of your life. Until then my understanding of God was fairly muddled. God seemed like a far away, compartmentalized part of people’s lives. It was through Mark that I came to understand who Jesus Christ really is, what He has done for our lives and what our lives should look like because of Him. He helped me to truly understand the Bible and how it practically applies to our lives in every way, every day. Mark answered many questions for me in those early years and guided me with utmost respect and integrity. I truly would not have the genuine faith and purpose that I have today without him.
