Mark Darling – Story 55

As what has become the norm, I left the church at the brink of adulthood and never looked back. The church was something I never thought would be part of my life again. That was until I visited the Rock. I wasn’t even looking for a church or God. I attended to complete a college assignment. But after hearing Mark Darling’s message, both my girlfriend at the time and I decided to come back. For the first time I heard a message that spoke to me. I understood it and it applied to me. His delivery was different than I ever heard. Over the next few weeks, we ducked in and out and Mark was the first person to stop us and welcome us to the Rock and introduced us to others. We felt welcomed and cared about. Over the following 10 years, Mark Darling has helped me learn what God wanted from my life as a husband, father, employee, and child of God. I am so thankful that God brought Mark Darling into my life.
